Poetry Throwdown - Matt vs. Kim Jong Il

Bravo, bravo, that was quite a good show
But it seems that i'll have to put you back in your place
It's about time to have you rightfully know
that you won't be able to come par to my pace

Matt, it's downtime we need to talk
I'm not gonna throw shade at your way
No, no, not the time to mock
But criticism always has the light of day

You see, I'm an every day man just like you
But when it comes to poetry, it is a passion
Still, I have to find time for PAW too
So i'll conjure up lines while I make my transactions

I myself, do not have a day job to worry about
But school is also a pain in my side
I'd bet we both have times when we scream and shout
But rent, bills, and taxes won't currently hurt my pride

Jarl I do hope you take this lightly
But what fun can a fight without a fight be?

Not enough people would participate,
Just look at the state of our lottery,
I think that is safe to anticipate,
As I fear it would cause such snobbery...

You do have some great idea's Kim Jong-Il,
But you miss out on the bigger picture,
Just like in your poems - you're tryna fill,
Some things just aren't a permanent fixture,

I wonder if you are screaming in school,
If you will ever survive in the world,
Rent, bills and tax depress, it is so cruel.
Soon the cotton wool mask will be unfurled.

These poems are of a higher standard,
Than the vulgar lines I threw toward Sam,
Although that's not to say they were slander,
Honestly we threw down with much more WHAM.

Perhaps now I'm a gentleman rhymer,
That's quite impressive for an old timer.

Oops, a bit late with my promise... Oh well

At least we can both concur 
That Sam is inferior to the both of us
We just have writing style more mature
Its like comparing sports cars to a bus

If there were an order from best to worst
It would go me, you, some rocks, then him
I bet when he reads this he'll be about to burst
In fact, the chance he wouldn't mind this would be quite slim

Just because I think you're superior to the man
Doesn't mean that you are far off to say the least
Neither of you make me feel like a fan
I've been quite tame, but now you've released the beast

Sam, you're the general who could barely take out one dude
Looks like all Aussies can't fight for their own sake
Matt, you have the hinderance of being in a sleepy mood
While everyone else in the alliance is wide awake

Sam and Matt, I challenge the both of you blokes
To a poetic battle, until the last of us chokes

Only 45 minutes later than promised, but lets just call it fashionably late

Im done, I give. monster in your pants? I'm weak
To outdo that, I cannot. I accept defeat
